Compounds of formula (I): ##STR00001## wherein B, X, R.sup.3, L.sup.0, L.sup.1, L.sup.2, R.sup.2, R.sup.1 and R.sup.C are defined herein. The compounds are useful as inhibitors of HCV NS3 protease for the treatment of hepatitis C viral infection.
