An inhaler for delivery of medicament from a canister which is compressible
to deliver a dose of medicament. The inhaler comprises a housing (1) for
holding a canister (2), the housing having a mouthpiece (5) for inhalation
of a dose of medicament delivered by the canister (2) and a
breath-actuated actuation mechanism (6) for compressing a canister (2)
held in the housing (1) in response to inhalation at the mouthpiece (5).
The actuation mechanism (6) includes a vane in the form of a flap (13)
disposed across a duct (24, 32) extending from the mouth piece (5)
arranged to lock the canister (2) in a compressed state and being
responsive to the inhalation at the mouthpiece (5) to release the canister
(2) when the level of inhalation at the mouthpiece falls below a
predetermined threshold.
Ein Inhalator für Anlieferung des Medikaments von einem Kanister, der zusammenpressbar ist, eine Dosis des Medikaments zu liefern. Der Inhalator enthält ein Gehäuse (1) für das Halten eines Kanisters (2), das Gehäuse, das ein Mundstück (5) für Einatmung einer Dosis des Medikaments geliefert durch den Kanister (2) und ein Atem-betätigtes Betätigungsorgan (6) für das Zusammendrücken eines Kanisters hat (2), der im Gehäuse (1) in Erwiderung auf Einatmung am Mundstück (5) gehalten wird. Das Betätigungsorgan (6) schließt eine Schaufel in Form einer Klappe mit ein (13), die über einem Luftschacht (24, 32) abgeschaffen wird verlängernd vom Öffnung Stück (5), das auf Verriegelung den Kanister (2) in einem komprimierten Zustand geordnet wird und der Einatmung am Mundstück (5) entgegenkommend seiend, den Kanister (2) freizugeben, wenn das Niveau der Einatmung am Mundstück unterhalb einer vorbestimmten Schwelle fällt.
