The invention concerns a novel method for preparing
tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)borate derivatives of general formula
MB(C.sub.6 F.sub.5).sub.4, M being selected among Na.sup.+, Li.sup.+, or
K.sup.+, wherein: (a) a C.sub.6 F.sub.5 X solution, X being selected among
H, Cl, Br or I, in anhydrous butylic ether is contacted with an
alkyllithium, the mol ratio of C.sub.6 F.sub.5 X/alkyllithium being 1 to
1.1, and the alkyl radical, linear or branched comprising 1 to 10 carbon
atoms; (b) the resulting product is contacted with previously
non-dissolved BR.sub.3, R, identical or different being selected among a
chlorine atom, a fluorine atom, a bromine atom, an alkoxy radical
comprising between 1 and 4 carbon atoms.
L'invention concerne une méthode de roman pour préparer des dérivés de tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)borate de la formule générale MB(C.sub.6 F.sub.5).sub.4, M étant choisi parmi Na.sup.+, Li.sup.+, ou K.sup.+, où : (a) une solution de C.sub.6 F.sub.5 X, X étant choisi parmi H, Cl, Br ou I, en éther butylic anhydre est entrée en contact avec un alkyllithium, la mole de rapport de C.sub.6 F.sub.5 X/alkyllithium étant de 1 à 1.1, et le radical alkylique, linéaire ou embranchée comportant 1 à 10 atomes de carbone ; (b) le produit résultant est entré en contact avec BR.sub.3 précédemment non-dissous, R, identique ou différent étant choisi parmi un atome de chlore, un atome de fluor, un atome de brome, une alcoxy comportement radicale entre 1 et 4 atomes de carbone.
