A silicone composition having a continuous phase of a polar organic liquid including particles of a silicone active material encapsulated within an organic encapsulating material which is a solid at 25.degree. C. The silicone active material is sparingly soluble in the polar organic liquid at 25.degree. C., but is substantially dissolved in the polar organic liquid at temperatures of from 40 to 100.degree. C. The three phase contact angle between the organic encapsulating material, the silicone antifoam, and the polar organic liquid is below 130.degree. C., with the angle measured through the silicone.

Een siliconesamenstelling die een ononderbroken fase van een polaire organische vloeistof met inbegrip van deeltjes van een silicone actief materiaal heeft dat binnen een organisch inkapselend materiaal wordt ingekapseld dat een vast lichaam 25.degree. C bedraagt. Het silicone actieve materiaal is met mate oplosbaar in de polaire organische vloeistof bij 25.degree. C., maar wezenlijk in de polaire organische vloeistof bij temperaturen van van 40 aan 100.degree. C opgelost.
