There are disclosed a process for cleaning a harmful gas which comprises
bringing the harmful gas containing as a harmful component, an
organosilicon compound represented by the general formula: CH.sub.2
CH--SiR.sub.3, CH.sub.2 CH--Si(OR).sub.3, CH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.2 --SiR.sub.3
or CH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.2 --Si(OR).sub.3, wherein R indicates a saturated
hydrocarbon group or an aromatic compound group, into contact with a
cleaning agent comprising activated carbon adhesively incorporated with at
least one species selected from the group consisting of bromine, iodine, a
metal bromide and a metal iodide in which the metal is exemplified by
copper, lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, strontium,
manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, zinc, aluminum and tin; and a cleaning
agent comprising the same. The cleaning process and the cleaning agent
enable to practically clean a harmful gas which is exhausted from a
semiconductor manufacturing process and the like by the use of a dry
cleaning process.
On révèle un procédé pour nettoyer un gaz nocif qui comporte apporter le gaz nocif contenant comme composant nocif, un composé d'organosilicium représenté par la formule générale : CH.sub.2 CH -- SiR.sub.3, CH.sub.2 CH -- Si(OR).sub.3, CH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.2 -- SiR.sub.3 ou CH.sub.2 CHCH.sub.2 -- Si(OR).sub.3, où R indique un groupe saturé d'hydrocarbure ou un groupe composé aromatique, en contact avec un produit d'épuration comportant le charbon actif adhésif incorporé avec au moins les espèces une choisies dans le groupe le brome , l'iode, un bromure en métal et un iodure en métal en lesquels le métal est exemplifié par le cuivre, le lithium, le sodium, le potassium, le magnésium, le calcium, le strontium, le manganèse, le fer, le cobalt, le nickel, le zinc, l'aluminium et l'étain ; et un produit d'épuration comportant la même chose. Le processus de nettoyage et le produit d'épuration permettent de nettoyer pratiquement un gaz nocif qui est épuisé d'un processus de fabrication de semi-conducteur et de semblables par l'utilisation d'un processus de nettoyage à sec.
