The present invention describes a novel composition for the treatment of migraine, a common neurovascular syndrome, which can be elicited by functional and/or structural (symptomatic) disorders. This composition comprises taurine, coenzyme Q10 and additionally creatine, L-carnitine, certain vitamins and minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, fats and herbal extracts. Furthermore, the invention describes a method for the treatment of migraine.

De onderhavige uitvinding beschrijft een nieuwe samenstelling voor de behandeling van migraine, een gemeenschappelijk neurovascular syndroom, dat door functionele en/of structurele (symptomatische) wanorde kan worden onthuld. Deze samenstelling bestaat uit taurine, coenzyme Q10 en bovendien creatine, l-Carnitine, bepaalde vitaminen en mineralen, koolhydraten, proteïnen, vetten en kruidenuittreksels. Voorts beschrijft de uitvinding een methode voor de behandeling van migraine.
