A music score with notes and signs in musical notation is displayed on the screen of a computer system using musical data representing events of notes and signs for a musical performance. The score is editable by moving a note from the exhibited position to another position on the screen. In case the moved note is connected with another note by a connective sign such as a slur, a slide, a bending (i.e. choking) and a hammering-on, the connective sign is also moved to the new position of the moved note. When the notes connected by the connective sign cannot be displayed on the same screen window, the connective sign is exhibited in a special fashion to indicate the associated connection. When the score is expressed in a tablature notation, appropriate modifications are employed to indicate correct manipulative operations for the instrument player.

Una cuenta de la música con las notas y las muestras en la notación musical se exhibe en la pantalla de un sistema informático usando los datos musicales que representan acontecimientos de notas y de muestras para un funcionamiento musical. La cuenta es editable moviendo una nota desde la posición exhibida a otra posición respecto a la pantalla. En caso de que la nota movida sea conectada con otra nota por una muestra conectiva tal como un slur, una diapositiva, una flexión (es decir estrangulando) y a martillar-en, la muestra conectiva también se mueve a la nueva posición de la nota movida. Cuando las notas conectadas por la muestra conectiva no se pueden exhibir en la misma ventana de pantalla, la muestra conectiva se exhibe en una manera especial de indicar la conexión asociada. Cuando la cuenta se expresa en una notación del tablature, las modificaciones apropiadas se emplean para indicar las operaciones manipulantes correctas para el jugador del instrumento.
