On October 19, 2009, we have become aware of an ongoing phishing attack against Patent Alert originating from Brazil. If you receive this an email similar to the one included below, do not click on the links or enter any personal or password-related data on their web form. They are trying to steal your data.

This or similar emails are not distributed by us. While the included URL looks like legitimate, it is actually doctored to appear as such and leads you to the hacker's website. As a general rule, do not trust email messages asking you to click on а link to go to your account. If you need to log in to Patent Alert, please entering our address manually or use a bookmark.
