The information processing apparatus transmits the specified pages to a FAX number specified by a user, by facsimile transmission. Next, the information processing apparatus transmits the remaining pages to a specified mail address by Internet FAX. Thus, the images are transmitted by the two kinds of FAX transmission to realize both of reduction in communication cost and prevention of leakage of confidential information.
