Optoelectronic devices include a polymer composition derived from reaction between a hydrosiloxane and a polyfluorene comprising structural units of formula I ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently alkyl, substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, substituted alkenyl, substituted alkynyl, alkyloxy, substituted alkoxy, alkenoxy, alkynoxy, substituted alkenoxy, substituted alkynoxy, or a combination thereof; Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 are independently aryl or substituted aryl; m and n are independently 0 or 1; and at least one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is alkenyl, alkynyl, substituted alkenyl, or substituted alkynyl.
