The invention is directed to a compound of formula I, ##STR00001## wherein R, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are as defined herein, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and its pharmaceutically composition, preparation and uses as an inhibitor of FGFs (fibroblast growth factors).
