The piezoelectric element is attached to the movable lens member and configured to fixed relative to the body of the digital camera unit, the piezoelectric element being configured, via control of current thereto, for selectably positioning the movable lens member in the barrel. The image sensor is fixed relative to the body of the digital camera unit and is arranged at one side of the barrel, facing the lens members.
