A heat-sensitive transfer sheet having at least one dye layer formed on one side of a base sheet, wherein the dye layer contains at least one kind of dye represented by formula (1) and at least one kind of dye represented by formula (2), ##STR00001## wherein, in formula (1), R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R.sup.3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R.sup.4 represents a methyl group or an ethyl group, and ##STR00002## wherein, in formula (2), R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R.sup.7 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R.sup.8 represents a methyl group or an ethyl group.
