The invention relates to the seeds of rice hybrid XL729, to the plants of rice hybrid XL729 and to methods for producing a rice plant produced by crossing the hybrid XL729 with itself or another rice plant. The invention further relates to hybrid rice seeds and plants produced by crossing the hybrid XL729 with another rice plant. This invention further relates to growing and producing blends of rice seeds comprised of seeds of rice hybrid XL729 with rice seed of one, two, three, four or more of another rice hybrid, rice variety or rice inbred.
