A.sub..beta.=R.sup.4--CH.sub.2C(CH.sub.2--).sub.3,
A.gamma.=--C(H)-isopropyl, R.sup.4=R.sup.4.sub..delta.=--CH.sub.3;
R.sup.4.sub..epsilon.=--[CH.sub.2--CH(R.sup.1)].sub.e--(Y).sub.d--(CH.sub-
.2).sub.c-Ph(R).sub.a, a, b=1 to 5 and are identical or different, c, k=0
to 5 and are identical or different, d, h=0 or 1 and are identical or
different, e, g=0 or 1 and are identical or different, f=0 or 1, m=1 to
3, n=0 or 1, as solubilizing agents/solvents for dissolving organic UV
filters.
