Using new whole-body overview images and/or the partial image, the examination images and spatially arranged in the original whole-body coordinate system dependent on a comparison of at least one item of image information of the examination image with at least one item of image information of the whole-body overview image and/or at least one item of information of the partial image that is related to the whole-body coordinate system.
