A method of making a diluted organopolysiloxane polymer comprising the steps of:-- (i) preparing an organopolysiloxane polymer by polymerising cyclic organopolysiloxane monomer(s) in the presence of an organic diluent material, a suitable catalyst and an end-blocking agent; and (ii) Where required quenching the polymerisation process; wherein the diluent material is substantially retained within the resulting diluted organopolysiloxane.
