An active hydrogen-dissolved water generator 10 contains a container 11 such as a PET bottle, a first case 12 filled with magnesium metal, and a second case 13 filled with gypsum. The first case 12 and the second case 13, and a drinking water are introduced into the container 11 and stored therein to generate an active hydrogen-dissolved water. By adding calcium sulfate or magnesium sulfate, and a magnesium metal particle to the drinking water 15, an active hydrogen-rich water can be generated and the retention of the active hydrogen generation function can be improved.
