The charging cradle for a portable device includes a cradle body, a support body supporting the cradle body on a rear side of the cradle body, a first slot defined and surrounded by an inner wall of the cradle body, so as to seat the portable device therein in such a manner that the portable device can stand in a vertical direction of the cradle body, and a second slot formed before the first slot and extending in a horizontal direction of the cradle body, so as to seat the portable device therein in such a manner that the portable device can be placed in the horizontal direction.
