The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising at least
one component comprising a rubber composition comprising a diene based
elastomer and an inorganic negative thermal expansion (NTE) filler
comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of
metal tungstates, metal phosphates, metal molybdates, metal vanadates,
and metal arsenates, wherein the inorganic filler has a negative
coefficient of thermal expansion in at least part of the temperature
range of 0.degree. C. to 200.degree. C.
