The present invention is directed to an abrasive article and methods of
making the abrasive article. An abrasive coating on the abrasive article
comprises at least 20% by weight of a superabrasive particle. The
abrasive coating is derived from an abrasive slurry. The abrasive slurry
may comprise and a dispersant having an AV wherein AV=1000*[(Amine
Value)/(Mw)]. The dispersant comprises a polymer having a molecular
weight (Mw) of greater than 500 g/mol and an AV of greater than 4.5, a
polymer having a molecular weight (Mw) of greater than 10,000 g/mol and
an AV of greater than 1.0, or a polymer having a molecular weight (Mw) of
greater than 100,000 g/mol and an AV of greater than 0.
