A flow channel separator 6 is formed in the honeycomb structure 1. There is disclosed a method of manufacturing the honeycomb structure 1 in which the flow channel separator 6 is formed by extrusion. There is disclosed a method of manufacturing the honeycomb structure 1 in which the flow channel separator 6 is formed by clogging.
