Method and material for stabilizing a wall or surface, such as a plaster
wall or plaster surface, includes a laminate having first and second
layers of a fibrous material, and metallic and polymeric material layers
disposed between the first and second layers. The method includes
repairing any damaged areas of a wall or surface, and then applying the
laminate to the entire wall or surface, including the repaired areas, and
allowing the laminate to cure and stretch and shape over the surface
character marks, imperfections, etc., to maintain the original character
and appearance of the wall, and prevent the appearance of any new cracks
or other damage on the wall surface.
