The present invention relates to an enzymatic process for the preparation
of optically active chiral alcohols using tuberous root Daucus carota;
particularly invention relates to an enzymatic process for the
preparation of optically active alcohols by enantioselective reduction of
corresponding ketones using tuberous root Daucus carota.
