The disinfecting device includes a lighting tube coated with a layer of nanometer light-catalyzed material, so that the nanometer light-catalyzed material is catalyzed by light emitted from the lighting tube to generate disinfecting energy for disinfecting the personal sanitary articles held to the article receiving recess by a clamping member fitted in the holding tray.
