A rope-fastening device used in docking a boat or other watercraft. The device
comprises two adjustable locking rings, both of which can close around a rope or
mooring line. Each locking ring has a plurality of gripping members on the inner
surface to prevent the rope or mooring line from slipping through the locking ring.
