A snowmobile has a frame assembly. The frame assembly has a front portion and
a
rear portion. The front portion has a frame member that extends over an engine
compartment such that an engine would be disposed generally below the frame member.
The frame member is primarily formed with an extruded component that is bent into
a U-shape. An air intake box can be supported by the frame member.
