A method for chemical analysis of fluids utilized in hydrocarbon exploration

production in which microfluidic systems designed to react to specific characteristics
of a fluid are introduced into fluid samples or during operations. The microfluidic
systems are then recovered and subjected to analysis to permit one to measure the
desired characteristics.
