A groundwater treatment system, which includes subterranean inlet, treatment,
and
outlet portions. The inlet portion is configured to collect groundwater from an
aquifer. The treatment portion includes a replaceable treatment media and is configured
to receive the groundwater from the inlet portion and expose the groundwater to
the treatment media. The outlet portion is configured to receive groundwater from
the treatment portion and expel the groundwater to the aquifer.
