The present invention provides Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist splice
variants, including isolated nucleic acids encoding these variants and
the encoded amino acid sequences, as well as antibodies, antisense
oligonucleotides, expression vectors and host cells that include these
sequences. The present invention further discloses methods of using these
sequences in the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of
diseases and disorders mediated by Interleukin-1.
