The present invention relates to novel heterocyclic compounds, according
to Formula I, that stimulate endogenous production and/or release of
growth hormone, wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and X are
defined herein. Further, the present invention relates to methods for
using such compounds and to pharmaceutical compositions containing such
compounds. 1
