Methods of providing integrated circuit devices with data modifying capabilities

A method of providing an integrated circuit (IC) device comprises, in one embodiment, providing a memory to store a first data value and providing a processor coupled to access the memory. The processor is configured to retrieve the first data value from the memory responsive to receiving a request from an identity associated with an end-user transaction, modify the first data value to provide a modified data value, and return the modified data value to the identity.
