Image pickup window is provided at main body of cellular phone. Image pickup
element is moved in accordance with switching between an ordinary imaging mode
and a fingerprint imaging mode. Infinite object is focused in the ordinary imaging
mode and proximate object is focused in the fingerprint imaging mode. Thus, infinite
object and proximate object can be picked up by the same optical system.
