A system and method are provided for realizing high speed and high
efficiency in compression of image data having periodicity. The present
invention includes the following: an image input unit to input image
signal; a first predictive converter which converts relation between the
pixel value of a target pixel in the image signal inputted through the
image input part and that of another pixel into a first prediction value;
a first encoder which generates intermediate data by encoding the first
prediction value output from the first predictive converter; a second
predictive converter which converts relation between a target symbol among
symbols making up the intermediate data generated by the first encoder and
another symbol into a second prediction value; and a second encoder which
generates an encoded signal by encoding the second prediction value output
from the second predictive converter.
Un système et une méthode sont donnés pour réaliser le rendement à grande vitesse et élevé dans la compression des données d'image ayant la périodicité. La présente invention inclut ce qui suit : une unité d'entrée d'image pour entrer le signal d'image ; un premier convertisseur prédictif qui convertit la relation entre la valeur de Pixel d'un Pixel de cible dans le signal d'image a entré par la pièce d'entrée d'image et celle d'un autre Pixel dans une première valeur de prévision ; un premier encodeur qui produit des données intermédiaires en codant la première valeur de prévision a produit du premier convertisseur prédictif ; un deuxième convertisseur prédictif qui convertit la relation entre un symbole de cible parmi des symboles faisant vers le haut des données intermédiaires s'est produit par un premier encodeur et un symbole différent dans une deuxième valeur de prévision ; et un deuxième encodeur qui produit d'un signal codé en codant la deuxième valeur de prévision a produit du deuxième convertisseur prédictif.
