The present invention is directed to the encapsulation of long chain alcohols, C.sub.20 -C.sub.36, in various materials including polymers and waxes. Through the proper selection of the polymer the encapsulated long chain alcohol can be advantageously added to foods such as margarines, salad dressings and the like.

La presente invenzione è diretta verso l'incapsulamento degli alcool a lunga catena, C.sub.20 - C.sub.36, in vari materiali compreso i polimeri e le cere. Con la selezione adeguata del polimero l'alcool a lunga catena incapsulato può essere aggiunto vantaggiosamente agli alimenti quali le margarine, i condimenti dell'insalata ed i simili.
