The invention relates to a film for food packaging, comprising at least
one layer (1) made from an aluminium material. According to the
invention, such a film may be improved, in particular with relation to
the puncture resistance thereof whereby the film comprises at least one
extruded layer (2) of a tear-resistant polymer.
