A process for preparing bisallylboranes of the formula (I) by reacting a
diene with sodium borohydride in the presence of an oxidant:

in an inert solvent, with the borane generated in situ reacting selectively
with the diene to form the bis(allyl)borane of the formula (I) and the
substituents R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 having the following meanings:
R.sup.1 14 R.sup.6 are H, aryl or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1
-C.sub.4 -alkyl or two radicals R may be closed to form a cyclic system.
As oxidant, it is possible to use, for example, alkyl halides or dialkyl
sulfates. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the diene used is
2,5-dimethylhexa-2,4-diene (R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 =methyl,
R.sup.3, R.sup.4 =H).
Een proces om bisallylboranes van de formule (I) door reagerende diene met natriumborohydride in aanwezigheid van een oxidatiemiddel voorbereidingen te treffen: ## STR1 ## in een inert oplosmiddel, met geproduceerde borane ter plaatse het reageren selectief met diene om bis(allyl)borane van de formule (I) en de substituenten R.sup.1 die aan R.sup.6 te vormen de volgende betekenissen hebben: R.sup.1 14 R.sup.6 zijn aryl of gesubstitueerde of unsubstituted C.sub.1 van H, - C.sub.4 - alkyl of twee basissen R kunnen worden gesloten om een cyclisch systeem te vormen. Als oxidatiemiddel, is het mogelijk om, bijvoorbeeld, alkyl halogeniden of dialkyl sulfaten te gebruiken. In een in het bijzonder aangewezen belichaming, gebruikt is diene 2.5-dimethylhexa-2.4-diene (R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 = methyl, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 = H).
