Optical cable (1) for telecommunications, having low PMD and attenuation
values, said cable comprising a central element (4), a plurality of
optical fibres (3) and a layer of polymer material (5) devoid of
discontinuities and incorporating both the central element (4) and the
optical fibres, each of the optical fibres (3) being ranged along an open
helix trajectory along which it has a torsion with a mean value of zero
and a local maximum value of between 0.05 turns/m and 1 turns/m.
Cavo ottico (1) per le telecomunicazioni, avendo valori bassi di attenuazione e di PMD, cavo detto che contiene un elemento centrale (4), una pluralità le fibre ottiche (3) e uno strato il polimero (5) privo delle discontinuità ed incorporante sia l'elemento centrale (4) che le fibre ottiche, ciascuna delle fibre ottiche (3) che sono variate lungo una traiettoria aperta dell'elica lungo cui ha una torsione con un valore medio di zero e un valore massimo locale tra 0.05 compreso turns/m e 1 turns/m.
