The population distribution analyzing apparatus is provided with the area
setting unit which sets an area in which population distribution of a
plurality of users respectively carrying a portable terminal therewith is
to be analyzed; the positional information acquiring unit which acquires
respective positional information of each portable terminal, and the
analyzing unit which analyzes the population distribution of the users in
the set area on the basis of the acquired positional information.
