A film coating composition suitable for use in coating pharmaceutical
formulations to provide modified release comprising a dispersion which
includes: a) an acrylic polymer, b) a vinyl acetate polymer, and c) a
water-containing liquid. The film coat is useful for the achievement of
modified release from pharmaceutical formulations such as tablets,
pellets, etc.
