The present invention is directed, in part, to improved polymer
compositions and processes for preparing same. Specifically, in one
embodiment, there is provided a process for preparing a polymer, wherein
the process comprises: providing a reaction mixture comprising a portion
of at least one polar monomer and at least one multivalent cation; adding
the remaining portion of the polar monomer to the reaction mixture; and
polymerizing the monomer to form the polymer. In certain embodiments, the
reaction mixture in the providing step comprises at least two molar
equivalents or greater of the total amount of polar monomer with respect
to one molar equivalent of multivalent cation.
Die anwesende Erfindung wird, in Teil, auf verbesserten Polymer-Plastik Aufbau und Prozesse für das Vorbereiten selben verwiesen. Spezifisch in einer Verkörperung, wird einem Prozeß für das Vorbereiten eines Polymer-Plastiks zur Verfügung gestellt, worin der Prozeß enthält: ein Reaktionsgemisch zur Verfügung stellen, das einen Teil mindestens von einer polaren Monomere und mindestens von einem mehrwertigen Kation enthält; Hinzufügen des restlichen Teils der polaren Monomere dem Reaktionsgemisch; und die Monomere polymerisierend, um das Polymer-Plastik zu bilden. In bestimmten Verkörperungen enthält das Reaktionsgemisch im zur Verfügung stellenden Schritt mindestens zwei molare Äquivalente oder das grössere der Gesamtmenge der polaren Monomere in Bezug auf ein Molaräquivalent des mehrwertigen Kations.
