Flexible impact- or blast-resistant composite material including a
strike-face having impact-resistant, adjacent tiles which have
complementary mating edges, and a flexible material having at least one
layer, the material having a high resistance to local deformation and by
itself being of non-ballistic properties, wherein the tiles of the
strike-face are integral with the flexible material.
