A toy component can be made of a fluorescent material, such as fluorescent
acrylic, where the property of the material is such that the peripheral
end glows when light is incident on the planar surface. To enhance the
glow effect, the peripheral end is routed smooth and/or flame polished.
The toy component can have various configurations, including an angled
configuration, which can be formed by bending a planar acrylic sheet with
heat. The toy components can be packaged economically and compactly.
