The thermally developable photosensitive material of the present invention
has a support and including on at least one surface of the support a
photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a
reducing agent for thermal development, a binder and a compound
represented by the following general formula (1):

wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl
group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X represents a chalcogen
atom; and Y represents an amino group, an N-alkylamino group, an
N,N-dialkylamino group, an anilino group, a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy
group, an aryloxy group, an acylamino group or a sulfonamide group, and
wherein when Y represents an alkoxy group, an alkylamino group, a
dialkylamino group, an acylamino group or a sulfonamide group, Y and
R.sub.1 may be bonded to each other to form a 5- to 7-membered ring.
Le matériel photosensible thermiquement développable de la présente invention a un appui et incluant sur au moins une surface de l'appui un halogénure d'argent photosensible, un sel argenté organique non-photosensible, un agent réducteur pour le développement thermique, une reliure et un composé ont représenté par la formule générale suivante (1) : ## du ## STR1 où R.sub.1 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe alcoyle, un groupe de cycloalkyl, un groupe arylique ou un groupe hétérocyclique ; X représente un atome de chalcogen ; et Y représente un groupe d'animés, un groupe de N-alkylamino, un groupe de N, de N-dialkylamino, un groupe d'anilino, un groupe d'hydroxyle, un groupe alkoxy, un groupe d'aryloxy, un groupe acylaminé ou un groupe de sulfonamide, et où quand Y représente un groupe alkoxy, un groupe d'alkylamino, un groupe de dialkylamino, un groupe acylaminé ou un groupe de sulfonamide, Y et R.sub.1 peut être collé entre eux pour former des 5 à l'anneau 7-membered.
