A new process is disclosed, particularly simple, convenient and practical,
for the direct synthesis of titanium complexes of the formula (I):
(D)(ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n (A)TiL.sub.p X.sub.q, wherein
(ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n is a divalent group bridging D and A; D is a
delocalized .pi.-bonded moiety, which is bound in an .eta..sup.5 bonding
mode to Ti, and is preferably a Cp moiety; A is --O--, --S--,
--N(R.sup.2)-- or --P(R.sup.2)--, wherein R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl,
cycloalayl, aryl, alkylaryl or arylalkl; L are monoanionic sigma ligands
selected from alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl and arylalkyl groups; m
is 1 or 2; n is 1-3; p is 1 or 2, q is 0 or 1 and p+q=2; said process
comprises reacting a ligand of formula (H--D)(ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n (A--H)
with about 1 molar equivalent of TiX.sub.4 in the presence of about (2+p)
molar equivalent of L.sub.j B or LMgX wherein X is halogen or --OR', B is
an alkaline or alkaline-earth metal, and j is 1 or 2.
Um processo novo é divulgado, particularmente simples, conveniente e prático, para a síntese direta dos complexos titanium da fórmula (i): (D)(ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n (A)TiL.sub.p X.sub.q, wherein (ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n é um grupo divalent que constrói uma ponte sobre D e A; D é a delocalized o moiety pi.-ligado, que é limitado em uma modalidade da ligação do eta..sup.5 ao ti, e é preferivelmente um moiety do PC; A é --O --. --S --. -- N(R.sup.2) -- ou -- P(R.sup.2) --. wherein R.sup.2 é hidrogênio, alkyl, cycloalayl, arilo, alkylaryl ou arylalkl; L é ligands monoanionic do sigma selecionados dos grupos do alkyl, do cycloalkyl, do arilo, do alkylaryl e do arylalkyl; m é 1 ou 2; n é 1-3; p é 1 ou 2, q são 0 ou 1 e p+q=2; o processo dito compreende reagir um ligand da fórmula (H -- D)(ZR.sup.1.sub.m).sub.n (A--H) com aproximadamente 1 equivalente do molar de TiX.sub.4 na presença aproximadamente do equivalente do molar (2+p) de L.sub.j B ou LMgX wherein X é halogênio ou --OR ', B é um metal alcalino ou alkaline-earth, e j é 1 ou 2.
