Herbicidal preparations which contain: (a) water; (b) a bromoxynil
component; and (c) at least one compound corresponding to the general
formula (I):
RO--(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.n (C.sub.3 H.sub.6 O).sub.m --R' (I)
wherein RO represents an alcohol moiety selected from the group consisting
of C.sub.1-6 monohydric alcohols, and C.sub.2-12 polyols having from 2 to
6 hydroxyl groups; n represents a number of from 1 to 50; m represents a
number of from 0 to 10; and wherein each R' represents a substituent
independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and an ester
group of the general formula, --CO--R", wherein each R" independently
represents an alkyl group having from 5 to 29 carbon atoms; with the
proviso that at least one R' represents --CO--R", are described. Also
described is the enhanced penetration of leaves by bromoxynil-containing
herbicidal preparations via the addition of at least one compound
corresponding to the general formula (I), as well as methods for
controlling plant growth using such preparations.
Herbizide Vorbereitungen, die enthalten: (a) Wasser; (b) ein Bromoxynilbestandteil; und (c) ein zusammengesetztes der allgemeinen Formel (i) mindestens entsprechen: RO -- Polyole (C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.n (C.sub.3 H.sub.6 O).sub.m --R ' (i), worin RO eine Spiritusdarstellt hälfte, die von der vorgewählt wird Gruppe, die aus monohydratisches Spiritus besteht C.sub.1-6 und C.sub.2-12, die von 2 bis 6 Hydroxylgruppen haben; n stellt eine Anzahl von von 1 bis 50 dar; m stellt eine Anzahl von von 0 bis 10 dar; und worin jedes R ' einen Substituenten darstellt, der unabhängig von der Gruppe vorgewählt wird, die aus Wasserstoff bestehen und von einer Estergruppe der allgemeinen Formel, -- Co -- r ", worin jedes R" unabhängig eine Alkylgruppe darstellt, die von 5 bis 29 Kohlenstoffatome hat; mit der Bedingung daß mindestens ein R ' -- Co -- r "darstellt, werden beschrieben. Auch worden beschrieben der erhöhte Durchgriff der Blätter durch Bromoxynil-enthaltene herbizide Vorbereitungen über die Hinzufügung von einem zusammengesetzten der allgemeinen Formel (i) mindestens entsprechen, sowie Methoden für das Steuern des Betriebswachstums mit solchen Vorbereitungen.
