New wood-synthetic resin composite products and methods of forming these
products are provided. The products comprise a cellulosic or fibrous
material and polypropylene (preferably reactor flake polypropylene). The
products are formed by passing ingredients including the fibrous material
and polypropylene through an extruder (preferably a twin screw extruder)
at temperatures of from about 150-260.degree. C. The extruded composite
products have physical properties very similar to those of natural wood,
including high tensile strengths, high compressive strengths, and high
densities.
I prodotti compositi della nuova resina legno-sintetica ed i metodi di formare questi prodotti sono forniti. I prodotti contengono un materiale e un polipropilene cellulosici o fibrosi (preferibilmente polipropilene del fiocco del reattore). I prodotti sono costituiti dal passare gli ingredienti compreso il materiale fibroso ed il polipropilene tramite un espulsore (preferibilmente un estrusore a vite gemellato) alle temperature circa da 150-260.degree. C. I prodotti compositi sporti hanno proprietà fisiche molto simili a quelle di legno naturale, compreso le alte resistenze alla trazione, di alte resistenze compressive e di alte densità.
