This invention relates to methods for prevention of cancers, certain
non-cancer, hormone dependent diseases and/or cardiovascular diseases in a
person, based on administering of hydroxymatairesinol to said person. The
invention also concerns a method for increasing the level of enterolactone
or another metabolite of hydroxymatairesinol in a person's serum thereby
causing prevention of a cancer or a certain non-cancer, hormone dependent
disease in a person, based on administering of hydroxymatairesinol to said
person. Furthermore, this invention relates to pharmaceutical
preparations, food additives and food products comprising
hydroxymatairesinol.
Diese Erfindung bezieht auf Methoden für Verhinderung der Krebse, bestimmter ohne Krebsbefund, des Hormons abhängiger Krankheiten und/oder der Herzgefäß- Krankheiten in einer Person, basiert auf dem Ausüben von hydroxymatairesinol zu besagter Person. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Methode für die Erhöhung des Niveaus von enterolactone oder eines anderen Stoffwechselprodukts von hydroxymatairesinol im Serum einer Person, das dadurch besagter Person Verhinderung eines Krebses oder ein bestimmtes ohne Krebsbefund, abhängige Krankheit des Hormons in einer Person verursacht, basiert auf dem Ausüben von hydroxymatairesinol. Ausserdem bezieht diese Erfindung auf den pharmazeutischen Vorbereitungen, den Nahrungsmittelzusätzen und den Nahrungsmitteln, die hydroxymatairesinol enthalten.
