This case discloses compounds of formula (I) wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.2-6alkenyl, amino, monoC.sub.1-4alkylamino or diC.sub.1-4alkylamino; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano or amino; each R.sup.4, which may be the same or different, is C.sub.1-6alkyl, halogen, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano, nitro or amino; p is 0, 1 or 2; each R.sup.5, which may be the same or different, is C.sub.1-6alkyl, halogen, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano, nitro or amino; q is 0, 1 or 2; R.sup.6 is --NR.sup.6aSO.sub.2R.sup.6b, --NR.sup.6aC(.dbd.O)R.sup.6b, --NR.sup.6a(C.dbd.O)N(R.sup.6c).sub.2, --(C.dbd.O)R.sup.6d, --CH.sub.2NR.sup.6aSO.sub.2R.sup.6b, --CH.sub.2NR.sup.6aC(.dbd.O)R.sup.6b, CH.sub.2NR.sup.6a(C.dbd.O)N(R.sup.6c).sub.2 or --CH.sub.2(C.dbd.O)R.sup.6d; where R.sup.6a and each R.sup.6c, which may be the same or different, is hydrogen or C.sub.1-6alkyl; R.sup.6b and R.sup.6d are C.sub.1-6alkyl or haloC.sub.1-6alkyl; or R.sup.6a and R.sup.6b, or R.sup.6a and R.sup.6c, together with the interconnecting atoms, may form a 5- or 6-membered ring; n is 1 or 2; and R.sup.7 and R.sup.8, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano or amino.
