For example, one radio frequency photonic link with differential drive to an optical resonator electro-optic modulator includes an optically resonant body having a surface for receiving an optical carrier beam, a first electrode for receiving a first electrical signal to the resonator body, and a second electrode for receiving a second electrical signal to the resonator body that is different than the first electrical signal.
